Information
Little
Mozarts is an annual music competition, which is open to beginning and
intermediate levels for all instrumentalists,
vocalists, and duets.
This
unique juried music competition for beginners 3-12 years old gives
young
children
the opportunity to perform
as concert musicians and receive their first applause. All
participants
will perform in Carnegie
Hall,
NY
and Caldwell
College, NJ
and get Certified Diplomas.

Crescendo Competition invites all students to participate in Student
Exchange Program, which will be held in Saint Petersburg,
Russia in June 23 - 30, 2011.
Elibility
Little
Mozarts Music Competition is open to all instrumentalists, duets,
ensembles and vocalists ages 3 – 12.
All
contestants will play in one of the two categories Junior (Elementary)
or Intermediate.
Repertoire
One selection (performed by
memory) of any composer (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern) in
Elementary or Intermediate Levels. We accept John Thompson, John W.
Schaum Piano Course, Faber & Faber and Guild Repertoire.
Note:
Dear colleagues, please avoid Beethoven’s “Fur Elise” and I movement of
Beethoven’s Sonata No 14.
Performance time
Should not exceed 5 minutes.
If your performance time is greater them 5 min, you will be charged an
extra $30 for every additional minute in accordance to Carnegie Hall
regulations.

April 9, 2011 at Monmouth

No Repeats should be taken at
the Audition or Recital. Judges’ decision is final.
All
contestants must dress appropriately.
This is
teacher’s responsibility to inform their students that no
jeans, mini-skirts, sneakers, boots, or high heels allowed.
Recitals
a. First place
winners perform on April 24, 2011, 1:30 PM and May 28, 2011, 6:30 PM at
Carnegie Hall, 154 West 57th Street, New York, NY.
b. Second place winners perform
on May 21, 2011, 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM at College of New Jersey.
c.Third place winners perform
on May 22, 2011, 4:30 PM at Alumni Theatre
at Caldwell College, 120 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006.
Recital fees
Carnegie Hall -
$180 (incl. 4 complimentary tickets). Additional ticket - $45 ea.
College of NJ - $130 incl.
4 complimentary tickets). Additional tickets - $35 ea.
Caldwell College - $100 (incl.
4 complimentary tickets). Additional tickets - $25 ea.

Awards
Based on the judge’s
evaluations, and considering the participant’s age, complexity of
musical selection, and years of practice, we award our cash prizes,
certificates, and medals or trophies.
Grand Prize - $150;
First Prize -$100;
Second Prize - $80;
Third Prize - $50.
Cash rewards for the Best
performer in each age group.
